a sad story
Shortly after the devastating fire in the Krefeld Zoo on New Year's Eve 2020, the images of the burned animals went through the press.
As with many other people, my earlier encounters with the Gorilla Massa were formative; I always remember his stoic and penetrating gaze.
Inspired by the media coverage, I just had to create a lasting memory for Massa.
